Aatish Patel, DMD

Aatish Patel, DMD, MS is a compassionate and personable dentist who speaks English and Gujarati, allowing him to connect with a diverse patient community and build meaningful relationships from the very first visit. He is dedicated to providing high-quality, evidence-based dental care in a fun and relaxed environment where patients feel at ease.

Dr. Patel offers a wide range of dental services, including restorative treatments, crowns, extractions, implant restorations, Botox, partial and complete dentures, and root canals. With experience as a Restorative Dental Sciences teaching assistant, he maintains the highest clinical standards and stays current with the latest advances in oral health research. He works closely with patients to tailor treatment plans to their individual needs and personal dental health goals, always meeting patients where they are.

Known for his fun-loving and approachable personality, Dr. Patel takes pride in helping patients feel comfortable and confident in the dental chair. He prioritizes building personal connections, making patients feel like they’re visiting a friend rather than the dentist. To help break down barriers and reduce dental anxiety, he often uses humor and clear explanations. Drawing from his artistic background, he frequently sketches illustrations to explain procedures and educate patients about their oral health.

Dr. Patel earned his Master of Science in Biomedical Sciences and served as President of the University of Florida College of Dentistry Class of 2025. He was inducted into the University of Florida Hall of Fame, the highest honor awarded to student leaders, and received the A. Lewis Leo Outstanding Student Award and the Clinical and Professional Excellence Award. He is actively involved in community health initiatives in the Gainesville area and mentors pre-health students at the University of Florida.

Outside the office, Dr. Patel enjoys drawing and painting, cooking for friends and family, and catching the latest Marvel movie.
